Mullen scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Chatfield, 40-34. At the time, the Chargers were ranked seventh in the state, while the Mustangs were 68th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mullen, who took down seventh ranked Chatfield, 40-34. Jovan Tafoya threw for 244 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 51 yards during the win.
Michael Callahan-Harris was a force in the backfield as Bret McGatlin's team fell to Tom Thenell's team.
Callahan-Harris was the most successful running back in 5A Super 6 this week. In 36 carries, he ran for 236 yards as the Chargers topped Bear Creek. Teammate Sean O'Dell added to the ground attack by rushing for 40 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Brunhofer. The Arapahoe star has 45 catches for 833 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Chatfield and the Warriors. The Chargers comes into the matchup ranked 11th in the state, while Arapahoe ranks 21st.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Chatfield takes on Mike Campbell's team. The Chargers' offense has racked up 321 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Warriors have allowed only 160 on the year.
Entering into this week's contest against the Mustangs, Casey Nichols is short just 169 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 12 touchdowns this year, Nichols has thrown for 1,831 yards with 12 interceptions.
Arapahoe was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating the Bears. The Warriors came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
