Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Sentinels vs. Riverton Silverwolves

Mountain Ridge dropped their record down to 11-5 on Monday, which also ended the team's 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-6 to the Riverton Silverwolves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Silverwolves this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-6 defeat last Wednesday.

Mountain Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Iacono, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4.

Coming up, Mountain Ridge will challenge Copper Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sentinels are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Riverton, they will head out to face off against Herriman at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
