Baseball Recap: Morristown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Morristown and Passaic County Tech squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Morristown had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Colonials have suffered since April 15th.

With the defeat, Morristown broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-10. As for Passaic County Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Morristown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Passaic County Tech, they will square off against Ridgewood on Thursday. The Maroons will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
