Football Recap: Juab Skates Past Canyon View with Ease

Juab extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 6-1. They blew past the Canyon View Falcons 39-10. With the Wasps ahead 25-3 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Jaden Heap continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 94 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 73 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Juab was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Juab, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Payton Myers, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

As for Canyon View, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Canyon View lost, don't look at Ryder Miller. Despite the final result, he picked up 114 receiving yards, and also threw for 118 yards on six of 20 attempts.

Juab didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-31 victory against Richfield on the 3rd. As for Canyon View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 35-14 defeat against Cedar on the 3rd.
