Basketball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Maranatha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berean Christian Kingsmen.

Daisy Tell was Maranatha Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted four points. Tuesday Hanley held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Maranatha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Berean Christian, they moved to 1-2 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing First Baptist Christian the next time they take the court. Berean Christian will head out to face First Baptist Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Maranatha Christian Academy will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th.
