Softball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Del Oro Suns.

West's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Del Oro, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-2.

West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-5 defeat against Kennedy on the 1st. As for Del Oro, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-4 loss against Strathmore on the 28th.
