Tesoro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the San Juan Hills Stallions 42-7. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tesoro wouldn't let San Juan Hills keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Tesoro can thank Brayden Higgins and Sammy Peterson for forcing both of them. Peterson also made nine total tackles, which is notable because Tesoro is 3-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 0-6 otherwise. Tesoro got some further help from Adam Achour: he picked up a sack and made 18 total tackles.

Timmy Herr was his usual excellent self, throwing for 300 yards and four touchdowns while completing 82.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 55 yards for San Juan Hills. That's the most rushing yards Herr has posted since back in November of 2023. A healthy portion of Herr's aerial production (140 yards to be exact) went to Luke Frith, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Tesoro's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for San Juan Hills, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Tesoro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Juan Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaumont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (San Juan Hills: 12.6, Beaumont: 14.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
