Football Recap: Troy Christian Takes a Loss

Troy Christian fell victim to Riverside and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Pirates and fell 34-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Troy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Riverside, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Troy Christian will challenge Miami East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Riverside, they will square off against Lehman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
