Baseball Recap: West Muskingum Comes Up Short

West Muskingum fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Sheridan on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Generals by a score of 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost eight in a row.

West Muskingum saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wes Houston, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

West Muskingum's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Sheridan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.
