Basketball Recap: Decatur Eisenhower Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Decatur Eisenhower challenged Edwardsville on Wednesday. The Decatur Eisenhower Panthers fell to the Edwardsville Tigers 62-56. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Tigers are ranked 12th).

Decatur Eisenhower has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Edwardsville, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
