Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Exeter). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 78-76 victory over the Bishop Guertin Cardinals on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Exeter and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Bishop Guertin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Exeter will take on Spaulding at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Exeter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Spaulding likes a good challenge. As for Bishop Guertin, they will face off against Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Guertin is facing Salem at the right time seeing as Salem is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
