Softball Recap: Milton Eagles vs. Gainesville Red Elephants
There's no place like home for Milton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Gainesville Red Elephants on Tuesday as the Milton Eagles made off with a 10-2 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.
Annabel Scott tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elizabeth Wilkes, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Oneacre, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
