Cochranton is a perfect 4-0 against Lakeview since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be playing at home against the Sailors at 4:00 p.m. Cochranton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 15 games.

On Monday, Cochranton needed a bit of extra time to put away Cambridge Springs. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Devils.

Jaidin Frayer was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 17 batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Danielle Hoffman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Slippery Rock hit Lakeview with a 12-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Sailors lost 14-1 to the Rockets. The Sailors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cochranton's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Lakeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
