Basketball Recap: Hamlin's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Hamlin unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-game winning streak dating back to last season on Monday. They fell just short of the Houston Mustangs by a score of 74-71. One positive for the Chargers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hamlin fell to 3-1. As for Houston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Hamlin will face off against Castlewood at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Castlewood has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three games. As for Houston, they will take on Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Houston knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Hillsboro likes a good challenge.
