Soccer Game Preview: Sandalwood vs. Englewood

After a short break, it's finally time for some more action. The Sandalwood Saints will host the Englewood Rams at 7:20 p.m. on Monday. Sandalwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Two weeks ago, Sandalwood beat Paxon School For Advanced Studies 3-1.

Sandalwood hit Paxon School For Advanced Studies with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elizabeth Faulk, Rachel Boucher, and Serenity Hairston.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Englewood's offense. They lost 8-0 to Wolfson two weeks ago. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Englewood's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Sandalwood, they now have a winning record of 5-4-3.

Sandalwood took their victory against Englewood in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0. Does Sandalwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Englewood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
