            Basketball Preview: Farragut Admirals vs. West Rebels        
        
		
        
        
            The Farragut Admirals will head out on the road to  challenge  the West Rebels  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Farragut is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66  points per game  this season.
Last Tuesday,  everything came up roses for Farragut against William Blount as the  team secured  a  75-31 win. Given the Admirals' advantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 59th, while the Governors are ranked 261st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

  Dominic Vanacker was  his usual excellent self,  shooting 6-for-8  from beyond the arc and  almost  dropping  a double-double on 29 points and nine  boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Parker Lane, who  went 5 for 6  on his way to 12  points.
 Meanwhile, West hadn't done well against Bearden recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. West snuck past Bearden with  a  64-60 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 West's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Farragut, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.
 Farragut ended up a good deal behind  West when the teams last played  on January 14th, losing  70-52. Can Farragut avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
