Baseball Recap: Pewaukee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wisconsin Lutheran on Tuesday, Pewaukee came back down to earth. The Pirates fell 7-3 to the Vikings on Wednesday. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 6-0.

Pewaukee's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Pewaukee will venture away from home to challenge Nicolet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, they will square off against Greendale at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
