Williamsport proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Clear Spring Blazers 3-2. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Blazers on their court since September 25, 2017.

Williamsport took Clear Spring into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 21-19.

Catherine Warren paced Williamsport's offense, picking up 25 kills. Warren got some help from McKenna Murphy and her 26 assists. Murphy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Williamsport's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Clear Spring, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Williamsport and Boonsboro will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clear Spring, they will face off against Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
