Volleyball Game Preview: Druid Hills Red Devils vs. Paideia Pythons

The Druid Hills Red Devils will challenge the Paideia Pythons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Druid Hills is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Druid Hills earned a 2-0 victory over North Springs.

Druid Hills relied on the efforts of Kassidy Manning, who had 11 assists and two aces, and Sophia Florence, who had five aces and two assists. What's more, Manning posted two kills, the most she's had over her last five matchups.

They weren't the only good server: Druid Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Paideia hadn't done well against Galloway recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Pythons came out on top against the Scots by a score of 2-0.

Druid Hills' win bumped their record up to 30-6. As for Paideia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Druid Hills skirted past Paideia 2-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2023. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pythons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
