Volleyball Recap: Jordan Takes Down Ardrey Kell in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jordan had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They skirted past the Ardrey Kell Knights 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since September 23rd.

Jordan was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (109-98), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 13-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Leading Jordan to victory were Evelyn Greene and Natalia Rosa. Greene had 16 digs and four assists, while Rosa had 19 assists and 11 digs. That's the most digs Greene has posted since back in September.

The victory was the third in a row for Jordan, bringing their record up to 14-11. As for Ardrey Kell, their defeat ended a ten-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-10.

Coming up, Jordan will venture away from home to square off against West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ardrey Kell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
