La Canada strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 17-7 win over the Village Christian Crusaders. Those 17 points were actually the fewest the Spartans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The critical scores for La Canada came from Joe Bell and Brandon Mohaghegh.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to La Canada's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Logan Wong and Reed Nassir, who racked up all four sacks between them.

La Canada's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Village Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Canada will take on Temple City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Village Christian, they will square off against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
