Baseball Recap: Lehighton Beats Wilson Area for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Lehighton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Wilson Area Warriors as Lehighton made off with a 12-5 win.

Cody Snyder was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. John Light also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Lehighton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Lehighton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Wilson Area, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lehighton is set to challenge their familiar foe Pen Argyl at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilson Area will take on rival Northern Lehigh at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
