Football Recap: Coudersport Comes Up Short

Coudersport played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 41-20 to the Brookville Raiders. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brookville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Krug, who rushed for 136 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Hayden Freeman also helped with two touchdowns in total.

This is the second loss in a row for Coudersport and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Brookville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Coudersport will head out on the road to take on Smethport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookville, they will host Port Allegany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Gators have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
