Basketball Recap: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. North Forsyth Vikings
Make it seven blowout wins for the Walkertown Wolfpack this season. They really took it to North Forsyth for the full four quarters, racking up a 87-60 victory on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-21.
It was another big night for Jaylen Wilkerson, who scored 16 points along with five steals. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Tyson, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Walkertown has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season. As for North Forsyth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Walkertown will be playing in front of their home fans against the Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McMichael is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for North Forsyth, they will head out on the road to challenge the Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
