Football Recap: Olympian Takes a Loss

Olympian played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Grossmont Foothillers, falling 30-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Foothillers: they've now lost four in a row.

Gabi Thomas went supernova For Grossmont., picking up 107 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 48 yards and two TDs. What's more, Thomas posted two receiving touchdowns, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Olympian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grossmont, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Olympian will face off against Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grossmont has already played their next match (against Academy of Our Lady of Peace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
