Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Uplift Elevate Prep

Uplift Elevate Prep had won five straight games and Brian Bowie did his part to make it six on Friday. The Blue Jays simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 76-38 with plenty of help from Bowie, who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine steals. Bowie is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Jean Gomez, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.1% field goal percentage.

Uplift Elevate Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Uplift Elevate Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-45 victory against Uplift Heights on the 13th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next contest (against South Shore Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
