Davis is 9-1 against Sunnyside since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Pirates will face off against the Grizzlies at 1:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Davis and four for Sunnyside.

Davis fell victim to Eastmont and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Sunnyside also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Eastmont on Saturday, falling 4-0.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Sunnyside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Davis beat Sunnyside 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
