Basketball Recap: Nashoba Valley Tech Takes a Loss

Nashoba Valley Tech suffered their closest loss since February 16, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the South Lancaster Academy Crusaders by a score of 45-43. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 43-41.

Nashoba Valley Tech's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for South Lancaster Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nashoba Valley Tech won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northeast Metro RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nashoba Valley Tech is facing Northeast Metro RVT at the right time seeing as Northeast Metro RVT is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Lancaster Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge North Brookfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
