Basketball Game Preview: Anderson County Bulldogs vs. Wellsville Eagles

Anderson County is 0-10 against Wellsville since February of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Anderson County Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wellsville Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Anderson County will bounce into Monday's game after beating Girard, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Anderson County narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Girard 44-42. The 44-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, everything went Wellsville's way against Osawatomie on Friday as Wellsville made off with a 61-41 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Wellsville and bumps their season record up to 9-5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.5 points. As for Anderson County, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
