Soccer Game Preview: Mariner vs. Cascade

The Mariner Marauders will challenge the Cascade Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mariner's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Mariner fell victim to Arlington and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Cascade came up short against Lake Stevens on Thursday, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Cascade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Lake Stevens are ranked 33rd).

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mariner, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1.
