Volleyball Recap: Osborne Takes a Loss

Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the South Cobb Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on August 7th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7.

Hailey Winn paced Osborne's offense, picking up two kills. Winn got some help from Sofia Gomez and her five assists.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for South Cobb, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Osborne has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hillgrove on the 26th. As for South Cobb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Paulding County on the 26th.
