Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley and Walla Walla squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Central Valley had to settle for second. They came up short against the Walla Walla Blue Devils, falling 3-0. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Central Valley couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Walla Walla a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-22, 25-16.

Keilee Eskelsen paced Central Valley's offense, picking up 25 kills. Eskelsen got some help from Elliana Roullier and her 35 assists. Eskelsen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Walla Walla, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.
