Basketball Recap: Turlock Gets the Win

Turlock lost to Cosumnes Oaks back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Turlock Bulldogs managed a 64-59 win over the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Several Wolfpack players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devin Jones, who posted 18 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Jones' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Boatwright, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points along with six boards and three steals.

Turlock's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Cosumnes Oaks, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Turlock will head out to challenge Pleasant Grove at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cosumnes Oaks, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-62 win against Patterson on the 11th.
