Basketball Recap: The Prairie School Comes Up Short

The Prairie School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Joseph Lancers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-50 back in December of 2024.

The Prairie School's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for St. Joseph, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

The Prairie School has already played their next contest (against Dominican), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Joseph has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Northridge.
