Morgan Park Academy extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Annabella Arevalos. The Warriors came out on top against the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Arevalos, who had eight kills and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Morgan Park Academy took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14.

Morgan Park Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Morgan Park Academy will take on Universal at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park, they will square off against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
