Recap: SkyView Academy Hawks vs. Bruce Randolph Grizzlies
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodland Park, the SkyView Academy Hawks were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They came out on top against Bruce Randolph by a score of 41-30. That's another feather in the cap for SkyView Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
SkyView Academy was led to victory by Lydia Slocum and Maggie Barrett. Slocum scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Barrett dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Slocum pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Reagan Martin, who scored six points.
SkyView Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bruce Randolph, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SkyView Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Peak to Peak at 11:30 a.m. on December 16th. Peak to Peak will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Bruce Randolph will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middle Park at 12:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
