Softball Recap: Kennedale Comes Up Short

Kennedale fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Hillsboro on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Kennedale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Hillsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Kennedale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-1 loss against Godley on the 11th. As for Hillsboro, they have also already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Ferris on the 12th.
