Basketball Recap: Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind Fox Defenders vs. Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers
Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind managed to slip by Appalachian Christian School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Fox Defenders lost 52-28 to the Trailblazers on Thursday. The Fox Defenders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.
Despite the loss, Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jackson Winslow posted nine points and six boards.
