Basketball Recap: Kadence Spino Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Christian Central Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount St. Mary Academy, Buffalo Seminary was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took down the Christian Central Academy Crusaders 36-19. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-12 back in December of 2024.

Buffalo Seminary got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kadence Spino out in front who posted 11 points. Spino is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Camryn Roberts, who had nine points.

The win got Buffalo Seminary back to even at 7-7. As for Christian Central Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Buffalo Seminary will face off against Mount Mercy Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christian Central Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Park School of Buffalo at 5:00 p.m. on February 20th.
