Shattuck had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Fairview on Saturday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Yellowjackets. Considering the Indians have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Shattuck, bringing their record up to 9-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Fairview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Shattuck has already played their next contest (against Hammon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fairview, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Tonkawa on the 31st.
