Basketball Game Preview: Orofino Maniacs vs. Kellogg Wildcats + How To Watch

Orofino is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will welcome the Kellogg Wildcats at 1:30 p.m. Orofino will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Orofino is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Timberline: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Maniacs blew the Spartans out of the water with a 59-26 final score. The Maniacs pushed the score to 49-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans had little chance of recovering from.

Hudson Schneider was the offensive standout of the contest as he shot 86% from the field to rack up 15 points. Nick Bonner was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Kellogg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 49-45 to Lakeland. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Orofino, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Orofino beat Kellogg 55-48 when the teams last played back in February. Will the Maniacs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
