Basketball Recap: Cj Granados' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dexter over Tularosa + How To Watch

Dexter lost against Tularosa back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Demons took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 12th).

Dexter lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cj Granados, who went 8-for-18 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Yadiel Barrientos, who posted nine points.

Dexter's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tularosa, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Dexter has already played their next contest, a 57-39 loss against Silver on the 13th. As for Tularosa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-54 win against Bosque on the 13th.
