Basketball Recap: Spanish Fort Takes a Loss

Spanish Fort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Fairhope Pirates, falling 56-20. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-22 back in November.

Spanish Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Fairhope, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Spanish Fort will take on Milton in a holiday battle at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairhope, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-43 victory against Baker on the 16th.
