Football Recap: Bunker Hill Bears vs. Hendersonville Bearcats        
        
		
             It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bunker Hill had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They blew past the Hendersonville Bearcats 54-26. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won four matches by 22  points or more  so far this season.
  Jason Willis Jr continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 81 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.  Eli Davis Helms was another key player, throwing for 242 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes.
 Bunker Hill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over.  Logan Starnes picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Another thorn in Hendersonville's side was  Jorrod Dials, who picked up  a  sack and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Although Hendersonville took the loss, they still got scores from  Hezzie Rudisill,  Gianni Thompson,  Amir Albany,  and  Gianni Jacobs.
 Bunker Hill's win was  their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 41.4 points per game. As for Hendersonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
 Bunker Hill will face off against Brevard at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Brevard's defense has only allowed 13.7  points per game  this season, so Bunker Hill's offense will have their work cut out for them. Hendersonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
