Baseball Game Preview: Greenbrier Bobcats vs. Station Camp Bison

The Greenbrier Bobcats will take on the Station Camp Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Greenbrier is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Pope John Paul II just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 7-3 to the Knights.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Station Camp and Hendersonville meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Bison came up short against the Commandos, falling 10-4.

Station Camp has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Greenbrier, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Greenbrier suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to Station Camp when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
