Volleyball Recap: Sabino Comes Up Short

Sabino was the 2-0 winner over Tucson High Magnet School when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabercats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Badgers on Saturday.

Esabella Urbina paced Sabino's offense, picking up two kills. Urbina got some help from Karissa Galbraith and her two assists. Galbraith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sabino's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tucson High Magnet School, the win was the eighth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Sabino has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Palo Verde on the 30th. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Buena on the 30th.
