You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Ponderosa on Tuesday. They walked away with a 78-65 victory over the Union Mine Diamondbacks. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Diamondbacks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ponderosa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Travis Bays, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. What's more, Bays posted four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Clark Woods, II, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points along with seven boards and five steals.

Union Mine lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cole Patterson, who shot 55% from beyond the arc en route to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Pritchard, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Ponderosa's record is now 2-0. As for Union Mine, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
