Dominion came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Heritage Pride a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Dominion, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Heritage with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mia McFarland (2), Lilly Gray, and Caroline Taylor.

Dominion's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3-2. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Heritage, Loudoun Valley, and Tuscarora. As for the Pride, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10-1.
