Softball Recap: West Bolivar Eagles vs. Enterprise Yellowjackets

West Bolivar and Enterprise squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly West Bolivar had to settle for second. They suffered a rough 21-0 loss at the hands of the Enterprise Yellowjackets. West Bolivar was red-hot at the plate headed into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matches prior) but Enterprise's pitchers proved too tough.

For Enterprise's part, Zoey Dean made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Dean was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caitlin Case, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Isabella Jordan was another key contributor, going 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple.
