Softball Game Preview: Hornell Red Raiders vs. Keshequa Indians

Hornell hasn't had much luck against Keshequa recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Red Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Indians at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Hornell turned things around against Dansville on Friday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Keshequa had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Golden Knights with a sharp 11-5 victory. Considering the Indians have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hornell's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Keshequa, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Hornell came up short against Keshequa when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 8-3. Can the Red Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
